Welcome to Cascade Covenant Church!
We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:
SERMON & SERVICE
From the pulpit you will hear sound Biblical preaching. Our sermon series are often tied to our children's ministry lessons - which not only engages the kids, but has been wonderful for the entire church. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged, and to be challenged. Join us in-person or online on Sunday mornings at 10:00am or watch later in the day or week. Other opportunities exist beyond Sunday morning where we all have a chance to grow, fellowship, or be a part of a Church family that lives life together.
ATMOSPHERE
It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are contemporary, but we aren't super produced and fancy. In our building, you will be greeted and welcomed and you can pick up coffee and tea as you come in - or bring your own!
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at Cascade Covenant Church! Our hope is to serve the whole family. Church Online includes a children's message and when we are in our building, we have programming available for toddlers (age 6 months+) throughout the service and our bigger kids (preK and elementary K-5) stay with us in the service until the message before being invited to head back to class. If you (or they) are not comfortable on their own, they are welcome to stay with you... but they will probably have more fun with their new friends in class. Be sure to check-in at the check-in table for details. Babies less than 6 months are encouraged to stay with mom and dad, but a quiet Mommy and Me space with video feed of the service is available.
What is Your service like?
A typical service includes singing, prayer, preaching, and giving. What should you wear? In short, it doesn't matter. There is a wide range of outfits on a Sunday morning - typically ranging from casual to business casual. Suits and ties are rare, but also welcome!
What do I do when I arrive?
For Church Online, we'd love for you to say hello in the chat feature on Facebook or YouTube. Let us know you're here! In the building, you can park anywhere in the lot! However, we have designated spots just for our guests - they are between the front door and the island garden. We have greeters located at the doors who would be happy to greet you and answer any questions you might have.
