CCC Leadership Team
Cascade Covenant Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will at our church.
The Leadership Team (LT) serves to give overall leadership and direction for our church. This team is typically made up of 8-10 people who meet regularly and are elected by our congregation, serving up to 4 years before rolling off the team. The CCC Lead Pastor also serves on this team.
The role of the Leadership Team is to promote our mission and vision, protect the unity of our church, and provide support to staff.
This team is not engaged in daily operations of the staff and leaders, rather they look after the bigger picture and strive to support the staff and volunteer leaders. Each year the LT will develop a recommended annual budget and present this to the congregation for approval. The LT also oversees the financial life of the church.

Our family started attending CCC in 1999. Lynne and I have been married for 36 years and have 4 children. Our youngest is 22 and our oldest daughter, Bekah, and our oldest son, Carl are both studying to be pastors. I work as a professor at Seattle Pacific University and spend my free time hiking the trails around the Snoqualmie Valley.
During my time at CCC I have served attended small groups, men’s retreat, Bible studies and community groups. I have served on the Tech team, have taught adult Sunday school and have served on the leadership team. I look forward to serving again with the leadership team.

My wife, Pexa, and I have been delighted to find such a warm community of Christ's disciples at Cascade Covenant. Our community group, World Vision Water Teammates, and new friends from services days, potlucks and bumping into one another in QFC, have been unexpected God gifts.
After 35+ years of marriage, the honeymoon is not over yet. North Bend has been home for the last fifteen years; prior to that, we had lived at Snoqualmie Pass for seven years. We've also lived overseas and had some great family adventures. Professionally, I have held senior leadership positions in tech, aviation, and professional services companies with 50-1,000 employees. I also serve on some corporate boards. But what I am really good at is making chili. In our free time we ski, sail, bike, hike and Facetime with our kids and grandchildren.
My favorite story is the wedding at Cana, those servants did a boring, tiring job filling those water jars...but got to be apart of a stunning miracle. I look forward to filling whatever water jars we have at CCC and seeing what miracles He does here.

My wife, Susan, and I have been attending CCC for over 10 years with our 2 kids, Rogan and MacCaden. I grew up near Duvall, graduating from Woodinville High School and then Seattle Pacific University where I met my wife. We were married in 1999 and have lived in the valley ever since. I’m an avid outdoorsman, preferring to spend most of my time in the mountains and ideally wearing a helmet. We live in the Tokul area of Snoqualmie where I can monitor the snowline on Mount Si all winter…my favorite season.
I grew up in the church and have been serving in youth ministry since I was a youth. At Cascade I have served in a variety of capacities including youth ministry leader, adult small group leader, African missions trip leader, etc. Professionally, I’m a consulting partner at a firm headquartered in Seattle. I’m excited to participate in the Leadership Team and help set the direction for where Cascade goes in the future.
