CCC Leadership Team

Cascade Covenant Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will at our church.

The Leadership Team (LT) serves to give overall leadership and direction for our church. This team is typically made up of 8-10 people who meet regularly and are elected by our congregation, serving up to 4 years before rolling off the team. The CCC Lead Pastor also serves on this team.

The role of the Leadership Team is to promote our mission and vision, protect the unity of our church, and provide support to staff.

This team is not engaged in daily operations of the staff and leaders, rather they look after the bigger picture and strive to support the staff and volunteer leaders. Each year the LT will develop a recommended annual budget and present this to the congregation for approval. The LT also oversees the financial life of the church.

For general LT email send to LT@cascadecov.com

Church Chair

Our family started attending CCC in 1999.  Lynne and I have been married for 36 years and have 4 children.  Our youngest is 22 and our oldest daughter, Bekah, and our oldest son, Carl are both studying to be pastors.  I work as a professor at Seattle Pacific University and spend my free time hiking the trails around the Snoqualmie Valley.

During my time at CCC I have served attended small groups, men’s retreat, Bible studies and community groups.  I have served on the Tech team, have taught adult Sunday school and have served on the leadership team.  I look forward to serving again with the leadership team.

Family: It's a little complicated but here's the short version...Carolyn and I have been married for 36 years, we have two daughters. I brought three children to our marriage for a grand total of five children. All are married and we have eight grandchildren.

How long have you attended CCC?: Since we moved to Fall City in 2001

Where do you serve at CCC / other groups and organizations? Carolyn and I started helping out in our children's ministry many years ago by registering children as they came in the front door, so geographically we haven't moved very far. Now, we hang out in our foyer before service to greet, check in, welcome newcomers and act as an unofficial information booth. Over the years, I have been involved in men's ministry at CCC and other organizations. I also volunteer as a cook in two non-profit kitchens.

What are your hobbies? Cooking, gardening, birding (very amateur).

What do you like to do on a Sunday afternoon? Go out for lunch, come home and watch some tennis, football etc.., take a nap, go for a walk.
