Karen Miller - Youth Ministry Leader

Karen has lived in North Bend for 31 years. She and her husband Kenny, along with their blended family of 6 children have attended Cascade Covenant for 17 years.

She has loved and served Jesus for 27 years. She has been a part of youth ministry at CCC since 2001 and on staff since 2003.

A recent quote from Karen, “There is nothing I would rather be doing than what I’m doing now!”

She is excited when folks really get what it means to “follow Jesus” and when they understand their place in the Body of Christ. But she is most excited when people finally realize how very much God loves them!

Karen loves people of all ages, but especially enjoys middle, high school and college age students! She loves their energy, their enthusiasm, their hearts and their questions about God.
Monday and Tuesdays are her favorite nights of the week.

Karen enjoys spending time with her family and good friends, hanging out with middle and high schoolers, meeting new people, learning new things, eating popcorn, reading, playing the guitar, going to the nursing home and taking a ride with Kenny on his motorcycle.

Amy Jayne - Youth Ministry Leader/Middle School

Amy grew up in North Bend and began attending Cascade Covenant in 1991 at age 8 with her parents and five siblings.  She is now married to Jason who she met in kindergarten, and they have two young sons.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, snowboarding, hiking, traveling, doing puzzles, and quite ironically, spending time with middle school students.

In 2005, Amy graduated from North Park University in Chicago with degrees in Political Science and Biblical & Theological Studies.  She also spent a year studying at Covenant Bible College in Ecuador and received her Certificate of Christian Studies.  Amy began working with Middle School students at Cascade Covenant when she was in high school.  This passion continued into college where she worked on a teaching certification while working part-time with special needs 7th graders in the Chicago Public Schools.  She felt especially drawn to this age group while coordinating an after school program for at-risk junior high students.  She is thrilled to be continuing this calling in her hometown.

Megan Burch - 9th and 10th Grade Girls

I’ve had the great blessing of serving as a youth ministry volunteer at CCC for the past five years. It is such a joy to share life with our valley’s teenagers! I spend my days teaching fourth grade in the Lake Washington School District. In the summers, I serve as a high school leadership camp counselor. In my free time, I love to cook, soak up the sunshine (or rain!), read, sleep, and play outdoors. Sam and I spend much of our time skiing, boating, hiking, and taking long walks with our black lab, Jackson. I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures, and I look forward to someday returning to see what God continues to do in the lives of my friends in Honduras and Uganda. Sam and I are eagerly looking forward to the adventure that awaits us as we welcome our first child this June.

 Chris Catanzaro

I have lived in the SnoqualmieValley for 18 years, with my husband Philip and sons, Dominic and Michael.  I have always enjoyed working with students and served on PTA boards at the local schools and taught Sunday School.  For the last 5 years, I've worked with the CCC Youth Ministry.  I love all students, and hope they can feel that love and acceptance, whenever they are with me.  Outside of church and my family, I spend most of my time in a career in the radio industry, which I have enjoyed for over 20 years.  PS:  I don't camp and I love movies.
