Global Presence

The Bible’s picture of the church is one that reaches out beyond itself, beyond it’s own community and into the larger world. God’s love is a gift for every person, group and nation.

“Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all people.” Psalm 96:3

Our desire is to be present in a meaningful way in cross-cultural settings as God leads us. With the momentum of globalization we can be quickly and even traumatically more aware of the deep suffering and injustice on our planet. No church can do everything. But every church can do something. Some of the ways CCC is currently active around the world are:

Ongoing support of Covenant mission work
We give regularly to support Covenant mission work beyond the Snoqualmie valley. This includes our support of the “North Pacific Conference” of Covenant Churches in our region. Church planting is a big part of this. We also support the Covenant world mission and relief work in Africa, Asia and Latin American. To learn more about the North Pacific Conference and the Covenant’s global mission work go to: www.covchurch-npc.org/ or www.covchurch.org/mission

Specific support in Honduras
We have developed a relationship with a church and community in the capital city of Tegucigalpa in Honduras. Mission teams from CCC have gone to Honduras. We are working with “Merge Ministry” to continue to develop this relationship. To learn more about Merge go to: www.covmerge.org/

Youth Mission Teams:
Our youth ministry has sponsored several mission teams to the Dominican Republic, working with Students International. This has been a great blessing for our students and their adult leaders. We expect to continue this relationship with the Dominican Republic and Students International. To learn more about Students International go to: www.stint.com/

In the Field Ministries
This ministry that was started by John and Kimberly Calhoun who attend CCC. We have an informal partnership with “In the Field” and encourage our people to participate with them as they are led to do so. Several people from CCC have gone to Uganda with this ministry group. Many  “sponsor” a child in Uganda to give them an opportunity for education. To learn more go to  www.inthefieldministries.org/
