Meet Your Women’s Ministry Leadership Team!

Women’s Ministry Leader, Sarah Ross:

I have been attending CCC for the past 5 years. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Dustin Ross, for 13 years and we have 3 children. Mireya is 10, Jabin is 8, and Marisa is 6. I also work per-diem as a hemodialysis nurse. I am so excited and honored to be serving in Women's Ministry! My 2 main roles are to be a coach and encourager to the team and to be the "face" of women's ministry. Meaning, you can come to me and if I don't have an answer for you, I will point you in the right direction. Please seek me out (Sarah Ross) if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or ideas. I'm here for you!

Events Ministry Leader, Deb Hinz:

I grew up in the Seattle area, married my darling college sweet heart and now live in Fall City with our two beautiful daughters Grace(10) and Sophia(7).   We have been attending CCC for about three years and I’m honored to be serving the women of our church in the Women’s Events Ministry role.   The purpose of the Events Ministry Leader is to help facilitate three main events at CCC.

Non CCC events – Organize women from CCC to participate in events outside of our church that are valuable tools to help women grow in their faith.  Ex. Beth Moore conference, Women of Faith Conference, or World Vision events, and many more possibilities.

One day conference – This event is in the dream stage but tentatively planned for the fall of 2012.  It could be a Seminar or conference held at our church for all women of our church to attend as well as friends and neighbors.  Mostly like the day would include a speaker, breakout groups, worship and food.

Women’s Retreat – Our Women’s retreat is being held at the beautiful Enzian Inn in Leavenworth Wahington from  April 27-29th 2012.   It will be an opportunity for the women of CCC reconnect with each other or meet someone new in an amazing environment of worship, teaching and fellowship.  Plan head!  Be saving! There is only space for sixty women …registration will start in January.

Friendship Connection Coordinators, Christine Balyeat & Sue Mocker:

The Lord has placed the Friendship Connection idea on my heart and mind for many years.  Because women need each other and are so busy working and raising families, I have often thought it would be great to have a gathering that was simple, God centered and inspired ladies to live for Jesus moment by moment.

Friendship Connection is a once a month opportunity at CCC for women to make friends through visiting over coffee, worshiping, hearing testimonies, listening to God’s Word and participating in small group discussion and prayer. The book we will be using is a Devotional book called Jesus Calling by Sarah Young.  No homework is required.  Come as you are able.

The goal of Friendship Connection is that all women would recognize Jesus as their best Friend.  Our prayer is that women would discover peace and strength through gathering every month. We desire that every month women would leave Friendship Connection with the hope that Jesus will take them through each day no matter how difficult their circumstances.

Details:

The last Friday of every month throughout the year 6:30-8:30 PM at CCC

Women's Community Groups Leader & Coach, Connie Williams:

My husband, Jeff, and I have lived in North Bend for 23 years and been part of the CCC community for 22 years.  We have 3 boys, all grown and mostly gone!  I am an RN and have worked with premature and sick newborns as a NICU nurse for 34 years.

This is my 3rd year as a ministry coach for community group leaders.  Community Groups for women are an important part of our ministry here at CCC.  Our goal is to offer groups that address content of particular interest to women and provide a place for women to share their lives and receive support, prayer, resources and friendship.

If you are interested in joining a community group, please check out the current offerings by clicking on the link in the upper left hand corner.  If you are interested in leading a community group, please contact me directly by e-mail at Connie Williams, or phone at 425-888-9736.

Welcome to MOPS - a place to find friendship, community, resources and support for you as a woman and mother so you're not alone. Moms have found community through MOPS for almost 40 years - we're your mothering authority.  This is a place where you can relax, have fun and get great mom knowledge while your children are well taken care of!  If you want to be a better mom (and we all do!!!), please contact Sarah Ross for more information.
