Fully Alive… Experiencing the Essence of Life
Being “Fully Alive” happens as I engage the profound and vital cravings of the human soul: love, spirituality, meaning, purpose, justice, destiny, hope and beauty. I thrive as I penetrate the depths, mystery and wonder of my very humanity.
Fully Alive… Becoming the person I was meant to be
Being “Fully Alive” involves change and growth. As God conveys His grace into my life I am transformed, from the inside out. I become free and thrive in new ways as God shapes the very desires of my heart. As I discover my identity in Christ, everything changes. Everything. I discover the wonder of being deeply accepted as a child of God, totally secure as part of His family and deeply significant as one who is called for His purpose.
Fully Alive… Right Here – Right Now
Being “Fully Alive” happens in all the highs and lows of life. Whatever my circumstances might be, I can thrive in vital ways as I live in relationship with God and align myself with His purpose for life. Being “Fully Alive” is a present opportunity, not just a future destination.
Fully Alive… Relational to the Core
Being “Fully Alive” is relational. Jesus taught that our love for God, ourselves and others is of supreme importance. We thrive as we love God, discover our identity in Christ and then love our neighbor as ourselves.
The Amazing Paradox of Life: (Mark 8:34-38)
Jesus said when we lose our life we find it. We need to die to having the role of being our own God. When I am willing to die, I’m ready to live. I’m most fully alive when I am most fully surrendered to Jesus Christ.
Being Fully Alive involves a life of…
- Connections and relational vitality as I love God and people.
- Calling as I embrace God’s purpose for my life and participate in His work in the world.
- Change as I grow in new ways and become the person I was meant to be.
